After School Care

Hessle Mount parents are offered After-School Care until 5.30 pm and an early drop off facility at 8.00 am for children from the Pre-School through to Year 3. We offer wrap around care which enables parents to have peace of mind in the knowledge that their child has access to a wide variety of organised and child led activities in a safe, happy, fun, relaxed and stimulating environment. The children can play, socialise, learn and develop freely with children of all ages, developing friendships and shared interests, in line with Ofsted guidelines.

All the children’s needs, including those required by the Early Years Foundation Stage or of those with disabilities are met by staff who hold relevant qualifications as play workers or Early Years Professionals. Most members of staff hold Paediatric First Aid qualifications. Our staff are warm, friendly and enthusiastic and their enthusiasm ensures that the children have fun and enjoy their time in After-School Care.

Twice a week the children have the opportunity to take part in a variety of sporting activities including multi-skills, hockey, football, tag-rugby, street dance and dodgeball under the guidance of Fit4Fun. During good weather play equipment and activities are taken outside so that all the children can benefit from the beautiful grounds here at Hessle Mount and this helps to promote the children’s health and wellbeing. We also provide 1 week Easter and 3 week Summer care for our children from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
